What is the difference between a 67-points calculator and a comprehensive ranking system CRS score?

Many people want to immigrate to Canada and establish their dream life over there. But, the application process involves minimum eligibility criterias, submission of documents, and a variety of rules. In the Canada PR process, there is a 67- points calculator and CRS calculator.

In this blog, we will understand the basic difference between a 67-points calculator and a comprehensive ranking system CRS score. We will also look at the eligibility criteria, selection factors of these two point systems.

  • The 67-points calculator is for the Federal Skilled Worker Program that helps in eligibility determination for Permanent Residency and CRS score is Express Entry’s own scoring system.

  • The basic difference is that CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) is based on a total of 1200 points, while the FSW (Federal Skilled Workers Program) program requires a minimum of 67 points out of 100.

  • The 67-points system only ensures that you can enter the Express Entry system. It is not the only thing that is required for Canada immigration.

  • You will then be given the CRS points after fulfilling the FSW minimum qualifying requirements and earning at least 67 FSW points. A maximum of 1200 CRS points are available to you.

  • Your position in the Express Entry Pool of applicants is determined by these points, which also affect your chances of being invited to apply.
